The Kashan Chamber of Guilds has declared that renting shops to Afghan nationals, both with and without legal residency, is now prohibited and will be legally prosecuted.
Real estate agents are also urged to avoid renting homes to undocumented Afghan migrants.
This comes as Iran intensifies the “forced” deportation of Afghan migrants, a move condemned by human rights organizations.
